Anchor Marine Transportation Ltd (AMT) was established in January 1994, but our management team has extensive experience of towage, barge transportation, and marine contracting stretching back over 35 years.
Today we own and operate the largest British fleet of high specification marine transportation barges.
Our fleet of barges have worked on six continents taking us across the globe, including the North Sea, the Mediterranean, West Africa, Brazil, the US Gulf, Canada, the Arabian Gulf, China and Vietnam. We have experience in tackling every conceivable climate and sea state.
AMT personnel draw on their expertise to provide services and solutions covering all aspects of safe, reliable and cost-effective marine transportation whatever the requirements, from feasibility studies and complex voyage planning to advising on and organising charters and barge hire.
